#BeTickAware

Public Health England our promoting tick awareness and prevention though their #BeTickAware assets, which provide key and easily digestible health information on ticks and tick-borne diseases. They have developed a ‘tick awareness toolkit,’ plus leaflets and posters to disseminate and display. The aim is for members of the public to be tick aware and vigilant for them all year round. There are simple steps you can take to prevent being bitten by ticks while out and about with your family, including walking on clearly defined paths, using insect repellent and performing regular tick checks. Ticks can be removed safely with fine-tipped tweezers or a tick removal tool.
